- Public Works Dept Staff -

The Public Works Department is comprised of 6 full time employees, who serve approximate 5,000 residents in Vine Grove. The department is responsible for Wastewater Treatment, maintaining our city streets, parks, and water and sewer lines.

Our staff normally works Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, however someone is on emergency call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

With the increase in new home construction throughout the city, the Public Works Department strives to maintain a positive working relationship with local builders.

Staff members at City Hall support the Public Works Department. These individuals issue work orders, maintain records, process water bills and respond to questions and complaints. Together, our aim is to give all of our customers, new and old, the best quality service we can provide.

The Public Works Department is in the process of upgrading water meters throughout the city. The ultimate goal is to replace all of the older meters with radio-read meters.
